Although summer is the time for vacations and a rest from school, you do not want your child to give up any of the hard-earned knowledge they acquired over the past school year.
Students often need weeks to get back up to speed after a long summer. Research at the John Hopkins Center for Summer Learning demonstrated that "on average, students lose approximately 2.6 months of grade-level equivalency in mathematical computation skills over the summer months." Students with AD/HD or any sort of learning disability often fall back even further.
Summer Refresher Series:
8 hour one-on-one tutoring program.
Tailored to fit students in grades 7 - 11.
Prepared tutors who understand what skills your child needs.
Subjects: English, Math, Writing and World Languages.
Offered July - August.
